Senior Bowl day 1

Just a quick blog from me today! A review of the stars from practise at the senior bowl on Monday.

BYU DE Ezeklel Ansah really showed off during one on one drills has good athleticism is very quick and agile. In the team portion of practise he battered down several passes as he plays with his hands up if he can not get to the QB.

Louisiana Tech WR Quinton Patton made every single catch today. Not the easy ones but also the ones where the QB was a little of the mark he brought it in. Scouts will be most impressed with the leadership he had on display several scouts noticed him leading the WR crop and helping them with adjustments.

San Diego State CB Leon McFadden also had a good first day. He had multiple interceptions through out different drills showing his ball skills. He also played with a good level of physicality pushing around receivers to help get pass break ups.

Central Michigan OT Eric Fisher was the standout offensive linemen on the north squad. He displayed a lovely quick slide against the norths speedy rushers coming around the edge. Fisher just looked solid all day and deserving of a first day selection.

Texas DE Alex Oakfor had himself a good day. He is very quick coming of the edge and is going to make a living playing in the back field. He show cased all his speed today using his speed rush many times, he also showed some good strength shredding blockers to get to the ball and I was impressed with the use of his hands.

North Carolina LB Kevin Reddick had numerous splash plays on day 1 which always gets people excited. The more impressive thing for me was his motor, a willing chase tackler goes from one sideline to another. In the team practise he also made plenty of plays on the ball.
